Sport Climbing

Once considered an extreme sport, sport climbing is gaining more and more enthusiasts of all ages today. Fans of this activity use every free moment to practice on artificial walls in sports halls. However, there is a special thrill in climbing outdoors on natural rock.

One such location is just a few kilometers from the center of Velika along the forest road of the Papuk Nature Park. It is accessible by car, but always with licensed professional guidance.

The quartzite rock, known as Sokoline, stands 50 meters high. On its southwest side, there are ten routes ranging from six to 12 meters in length. With ratings ranging from 4b to 5c, the climbing area is ideal for beginners and those with less experience.
