Pakrac Municipal Museum

Pakrac Municipal Museum operates in the building Mali Dvor – Janković, part of the Janković manor from the 18th century, the center of the former large estate. By operating from the inside of an architecturally remarkable building which by itself represents cultural and historical value, the museum makes sure to save the rich heritage of Pakrac and its surroundings from oblivion and present it to the citizens of Pakrac and its guests in the best possible way.

Generally, it is involved in the protection and presentation of the cultural heritage of this region, and it gives an important contribution to the cultural and social life of the city with its diverse presentation diversity (exhibitions, museum workshops, lectures, different museum promotions).

It is a place where you can find several interesting museum artifacts and discover interesting stories those artifacts tell us. Among them, original Slavonian banovci stand out – silver coins or the first Croatian kunas that were minted for the first time in Pakrac, in the first Croatian mint in the 13th century. With many other objects, but also exhibitions and promotions the museum prepares, it is the place of learning differently, the place of discoveries and experiences, and the starting point for learning more about the interesting and rich history of Pakrac.
