Walk&Run trail Lapjak

This route falls into the category of difficult due to the ascent of nearly 400 meters in altitude, but all the effort invested is rewarded with an unforgettable experience of walking through Velika, a picturesque town at the foot of Papuk Mountain, and the educational trail of the Papuk Nature Park, passing by the Old Town of Velika, across Tauber's Cliffs, Lapjak Peak, near the adrenaline park "Duboka," and the aquapark "Shhhuma."

The route starts at the headquarters of the Papuk Nature Park, where the House of the Pannonian Sea is located, passing through Velika along the Dubočanka stream, past the "Shhhuma" aquapark, after which it turns into the forest and follows the educational trail. The beginning of the educational trail is steep, leading up to the Old Town of Velika. The route continues through predominantly oak forest occasionally interspersed with coniferous trees, ascending to Tauber's Cliffs, crossing them with caution, offering a perfect view of Velika and the western part of the Požega Valley. Immediately after Tauber's Cliffs, the trail leads to Lapjak Peak, after which it descends further following the educational trail over Šuler's Path to the Velika-Duboka asphalt road. Shortly after reaching the asphalt, the route passes by the "Duboka" adrenaline park, then descends alongside the Dubočanka stream and aquapark back to the starting point.
