Walk&Run trail Starac

This moderately challenging and well-maintained route passes by the most significant tourist landmarks of Pleternica, from the Museum of Bećarac, through meticulously maintained vineyards of Pleternica, to Starac and the viewpoint near the barrel of the "Markota" winery.

The route starts from the Museum of Bećarac and Interpretation Center along Pleternica Park, continuing towards Vinogradska Street. This part of the route is paved and passes by fields and orchards leading up to the vineyards. After the paved section, the path continues on a gravel road towards the location of Starac, not far from the famous viewpoint near the barrel of the "Markota" winery, offering an unparalleled view of the vineyards, Dilj mountain, the cultivated plains of Slavonia, and the town of Pleternica. After the "Barrel," the path descends on the gravel road named "Smiljanka" towards the Church of "Our Lady of Tears." After the church, the route returns to the starting point at the Museum of Bećarac.
