Požega-Pleternica vineyard
Požega, Pleternica, Brestovac, and Jakšić are part of the Požega-Pleternica vineyard.
Vineyards planted on the slopes of Golden Valley, or Vallis Aurea, as ancient Romans used to call it, are 400 m above sea level, and they are planted densely with around 7.500 vines/ha on 390 ha of vineyards.
Most of the vineyards in the Požega region are located on the slopes of Mount Požega, while the positions of hills Klikun and Starac above Pleternica are two pretty much the best continental destinations for planting vines in Croatia with a century-long tradition in growing vines and production of top-quality wines known even outside of our borders.
A magical blend of culture, oenology, and natural beauty woven into a story of premium experiences and pleasures awaits you on the Road of Roses and Wine.
