The long tradition of horse breeding in Golden Slavonia is confirmed by the Lipik State Stud Farm, founded back in 1843. Lipizzaner horses are now one of the symbols of this town, and the tradition of breeding these horses is inscribed on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. In addition to visiting the stud farm, visitors have access to riding schools and tourist carriage rides.
