Kutjevo Vineyards
Čaglin, Kutjevo, Kaptol and Velika are within Kutjevo Vineyard.
Kutjevo vineyard takes the fringe area of Požega Valley, and it is in the zone of podzols, on the soils created on the parent substrate of acidic decrepit rocks. This vineyard has around 800ha of vineyards under its production. Looking from the climatic side, mean values of continental humid, i.e., semi-humid climate are characteristic of Kutjevo vineyards. In Kutjevo vineyard, which is considered one of the top Croatian vineyards and gives wines of high and top quality, the best vineyard positions are Vinkomir, Hrnjevac, and Vetovo.
On the territory of Kutjevo vineyard, there is a wine cellar from 1232, which is today the oldest wine cellar in Croatia. The parallel 45,3 which stretches out over Kutjevo vineyard connects the areas significant for wine-growing: Istria, Piemonte, Val du Rhone, Bordeaux, and Oregon.
